About Krang Suri Falls

Near Amlarem in West Jaintia Hills, Krang Suri is arguably Meghalaya's most visually striking waterfall. Unlike Cherrapunjee's towering, often-inaccessible drops, Krang Suri cascades gently over a wide, sunlit cliff into a vivid turquoise plunge pool.

Reached by a well-maintained 15-minute downhill walk through fern-covered woodland, it's a place to swim, walk behind the waterfall's curtain, or picnic by the terraced rock pools — genuinely removed from Sohra's heavier tourist traffic.
