These terms govern your use of the Nomadic Northeast website and any trip, service or product you book with us. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
Nomadic Northeast plans and arranges Northeast India travel — custom itineraries, private vehicles and chauffeurs, accommodation, permit assistance, activities, and corporate or event transport. We act as a trip planning and coordination service, arranging third-party providers (hotels, homestays, safari operators, permit authorities) on your behalf.
Enquiries & Quotes
Submitting a Trip Planner request, lead form, or WhatsApp enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. A quote is indicative until you approve the final itinerary and pay the required advance.
Pricing
Prices quoted are specific to your dates, route, vehicle, group size and inclusions, and can change based on season, availability and government fees (permits, safari charges, etc.) at the time of travel.
Permits & Government Rules
Some destinations require Inner Line Permits or other government authorisation. Rules, fees and processing times are set by the relevant state governments and can change without notice. We assist with permit processing but cannot guarantee approval timelines or outcomes, which rest with the issuing authority.
Vehicles & Substitution
We use our own fleet where possible and a trusted partner network for larger or specialised vehicle requirements. In case of a vehicle breakdown or unavailability, we may substitute a comparable vehicle to keep your trip on schedule.
Road, Weather & Border Conditions
Northeast India includes remote and border-adjacent terrain where roads, weather and security/administrative access can change with little notice. We plan conservatively, but cannot guarantee access to any specific point if conditions, permissions or official restrictions change after booking.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, landslides, road closures, extreme weather, strikes, government restrictions, or civil unrest. We will work with you in good faith to reschedule or adjust the itinerary where possible.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for carrying valid identification and permit documents, disclosing relevant medical conditions that may affect travel to high-altitude or remote areas, and following the safety instructions of our drivers and guides.
Limitation of Liability
Nomadic Northeast coordinates third-party services in good faith but is not liable for the acts, errors or omissions of independent hotels, homestays, safari operators or other third parties beyond our reasonable control.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Assam having jurisdiction over any disputes.
